01

Why conductivity is useful

CIP solutions contain ions, so conductivity can provide a fast indication of phase change and chemical concentration when temperature compensation and a validated concentration curve are applied.

02

Why range matters

A CIP cycle may move from low-conductivity rinse water to concentrated acid or caustic. Four-electrode or inductive sensors can cover wider ranges than conventional two-electrode designs.

03

Installation checks

Prevent air pockets, confirm flow exposure, choose compatible wetted materials and verify that cleaning temperature and pressure remain within the sensor rating.
