Keep the tube full
Avoid high points where gas can collect. On horizontal lines, sensor position should reduce the risk of measuring through an air pocket.
Reduce disturbed flow
Do not place the measurement point immediately after pumps, control valves or sharp bends. Straight-run requirements depend on the meter and disturbance.
Verify acoustic compatibility
Confirm tube material, outer diameter, wall thickness, liquid properties and temperature. Coupling and sensor alignment must follow the installation instructions.
