Engineer-reviewed FAQ
Questions about FP-6010
Application answers reviewed for compatibility, selection, installation and maintenance.
What pipe size range is covered by the FP-6010 insertion thermal gas mass flow meter?+
The FP-6010 insertion thermal gas flow meter offers an economical solution for monitoring compressed air, nitrogen, oxygen, biogas, and aeration gas in large industrial ducts and pipes. Designed for line sizes from DN50 (0.7-706 Nm3/h) to DN1000 (282-282,743 Nm3/h), it measures gas flow velocities between 0.1 m/s and 100 m/s with 1% accuracy. The instrument operates across medium temperatures from 0°C to 200°C and supports RS485/RS232 Modbus RTU communications alongside 4-20mA outputs. Hot-tap ball valve isolation mechanisms allow insertion without process shutdown. Proper insertion depth and pipe hot-tap fittings must be confirmed for the selected configuration. Please submit your gas medium, flow range, pressure, temperature, viscosity, tube size, process connection, and required output.
