Engineer-reviewed FAQ
Questions about FP-960
Application answers reviewed for compatibility, selection, installation and maintenance.
What pipe diameters and transducer mounting methods are supported by the FP-960 ultrasonic meter?+
The FP-960 ultrasonic flow meter is engineered for large-scale liquid flow measurement in water distribution, HVAC, and industrial process lines. Utilizing highly integrated multi-layer PCB electronics, it delivers +/-1.0% accuracy across velocity ranges from 0 to +/-12 m/s (0 to +/-40 ft/s) with 0.2% repeatability. Dual encapsulated transducers connect via twin-shielded 10-meter cables (extendable up to 200m) and support V, N, Z, or W mounting methods based on pipe size from 25 mm to 2000 mm. Output options include isolated 4-20mA, OCT pulse, relay, and RS485 Modbus. Host housing is available in PC plastic or CNC aluminum alloy. Signal strength on lined pipes must be confirmed for the selected configuration.
