Process Sensors
AS2110Pure-water pH Electrode
The AS2110 is designed for pH measurement in pure water. A large low-resistance membrane, three ceramic diaphragms and low-viscosity electrolyte support more stable measurement in low-conductivity samples.

Questions about AS2110
Application answers reviewed for compatibility, selection, installation and maintenance.
Which pH electrode should be selected for low-conductivity pure water measurement?+
Measuring pH in ultrapure and pure water (<10 uS/cm) is challenging due to high sample resistance, streaming potentials, and junction noise. The AS2110 pH electrode solves these issues using a low-resistance glass membrane with a large surface area, paired with three ceramic diaphragms and low-viscosity gel electrolyte to accelerate ion exchange. This construction ensures stable, fast pH measurements in pure water lines down to >0.1 uS/cm conductivity. It operates from -5°C to 100°C under pressures up to 5 bar, featuring PG13.5 process connections and optional PT1000 temperature sensors. Flow cell velocity impact on reference outflow must be confirmed for the selected configuration.
